👇 Let’s plan yours

where would I send my clients for a family trip to where would I send my clients for a family trip to asia? 🌏

these are my top 5, ranked not just by how much I love the destination, but by how well I think they work for families with different ages, interests and energy levels ➡️

🇸🇬 5: singapore
an easy introduction to asia and one that’s great for littler kids. singapore is clean, safe, and easy to navigate, with a mix of amazing food, cultural experiences and iconic attractions like gardens by the bay and universal studios. great for families who want a little less logistical stress, or those extending an asia cruise.

🇮🇩 4: bali - ubud + nusa lembongan
a great choice for families who want culture, nature, and beach time in one trip, especially those with adult children. ubud has rice terraces, temples, cooking experiences and plenty to explore, while nusa lembongan gives you a more relaxed island finish with beautiful water and snorkeling.

🇰🇷 3: south korea - busan + jeju
I’d pick this combination for families who want something a little different from the typical asia itinerary and have children at least middle-school aged. seoul is great for families, too, but busan has beaches, markets, incredible food, and weekly drone shows, while jeju offers waterfalls, volcanic landscapes, clear water beaches, and more outdoor adventures.

🇯🇵 2: japan - tokyo + kyoto
probably the easiest destination on this list to get the whole family excited about, and one especially great for teenagers. tokyo has theme parks, pop culture, shopping, and endless food options, while kyoto has temples, traditional experiences like tea ceremonies, and a more relaxed pace.

🇹🇭 1: thailand - chiang mai + koh lanta
my pick for the families that want the best balance of adventure and relaxation, making it great for any age range. start in chiang mai for temples, markets, cooking classes and unforgettable cultural experiences, then slow down on koh lanta for calm beaches, snorkeling, and family-friendly island time.

because the whole family deserves something to look forward to, whether that means a first adventure with little kids, a multigenerational getaway, or meaningful time with adult children 🫶

I ❤️ Busan this oceanside city in south korea doe I ❤️ Busan

this oceanside city in south korea doesn’t get as much hype as seoul, but it’s totally worth a few days!

delicious food, beautiful hotels, stunning views of both coasts and mountains… it’s quieter and more slow paced than seoul, with its own vibe and culture (and even dialect)

not many people know this, but I seriously considered moving from seoul to busan while I was living in korea. I ended up not being able to give up my friends and the community I’d worked so hard to build in seoul, but busan still holds a very special place in my heart 💕

busan is more than worth adding to your korea itinerary. as a former local, I now design custom korea trips, including big hitters and more hidden gems, based completely on YOUR travel style and goals 🔗 link in bio to enquire today!

how to spend a day in the world’s coolest neighbor how to spend a day in the world’s coolest neighborhood, jongno 3-ga 🛍️☕️🍜

@timeouttravel just named seoul’s jongno 3-ga as the coolest neighborhood in the world in 2026, and as a former local, I TOTALLY see why 🌟

known best for ikseongdong but also having more local experiences to offer, it’s the perfect place to spend a day of shopping, cafe hopping, photo ops, eating, and drinking in seoul 🏙️

so here’s all you need to know to enjoy a day in this seoul neighborhood and see exactly why it earned this honor 🥇

I design custom korea itineraries as a korea travel expert, so if you want to make sure you’re getting your seoul trip RIGHT, stop scrolling! link in bio for a fully supported korea trip 🔗🇰🇷

I’ve traveled extensively in asia… here are my 8 b I’ve traveled extensively in asia… here are my 8 best cities 🌏

👀 and yes, I know this is going to be controversial

I’ve spent years traveling around asia and designing itineraries for my clients there, and if I had to rank the cities based on the overall experience, these are my picks ➡️

🇸🇬 8: singapore
modern, easy, safe, and great food at the hawker centres. it’s an ideal introduction to southeast asia, good use of a long layover, and a great pre or post extension of your asia cruise.

🇭🇰 7: hong kong
the skyline is iconic, but the real magic is in the neighborhoods, dim sum, nightlife, lantau island, and mountains just outside the city.

🇹🇼 6: taipei
one of the easiest asian cities to love that most travelers overlook. incredible food, welcoming people, hot springs, night markets, day trips to natural wonders, and a nice laid-back energy.

🇨🇳 5: shanghai
futuristic, stylish, and historic - the mix of old and new here is hard to beat. definitely some of the best shopping in asia.

🇹🇭 4: bangkok
chaotic in the best way. incredible hotels, michelin star restaurants, temples, nightlife, shopping, and some of the best street food in the world.

🇨🇳 3: chongqing
the wildcard choice, but this city truly feels like stepping into another dimension. you’ll never know whether you’re on the 33rd floor or the ground floor. add in spicy food and cyberpunk culture, it’s an experience that feels completely different from anywhere else.

🇰🇷 2: seoul
my forever favorite (although I’m biased because it was my home for 3 years) for beauty, cafes, nightlife, and culture. there is genuinely something for everyone here and it’s great for a first trip to asia.

🇯🇵 1: tokyo
I mean… it may seem like the basic choice, but nothing about tokyo is basic. incredible food, endless cool neighborhoods, luxury hotels, friendly locals, unique experiences, and somehow you’ll never run out of things to do.

now tell me: which city am I ranking way too high or way too low? or is there one missing from the list completely? 👀

and if you’re planning an asia trip and have no idea where to start, that’s exactly what I’m here for. I own a travel planning business specializing in as
bts of becoming in real life princess in seoul 👑˚˖ bts of becoming in real life princess in seoul 👑˚˖𓍢 🏯✧˚.🎀

I always had this experience on my korea bucket list, but after living there for three years, I never made it happen! so when I went back this summer, especially after I had clients do it who shared their absolutely gorgeous photos with me, I knew it was time 📸

here’s what to expect if you do a hanbok photoshoot during your seoul trip ➡️

1️⃣💇‍♀️: you’ll arrive early, around 7-7:30am, to choose your hanbok and hairstyle. it sounds early but is SO worth it to beat the crowds (and the heat, if you’re traveling in summer). in fact, it’s a red flag if you’re not scheduled to meet that early 🚩

you’ll need to do your own makeup before arriving 💅

💃 there were endless hanbok to choose from, as well as 7 hairstyles. I highly recommend going in with an idea of the look you’re going for, or else you could very well have complete decision paralysis and only about 30-45 minutes to get ready ⏳

🌼 I ended up choosing this gorgeous yellow hanbok that I got sooo many compliments on! I’d just done my personal color analysis in seoul (which I also highly recommend) and they determined this exact color was my best color. so when I saw this one that also incorporated a little bit of pink, my fav color, I knew it was the one 🌸

2️⃣🏯 you’ll head to the palace right when it opens and beeline straight to your first photo spot. you won’t just have a photographer, but a glam team, too, there to help you pose, fix your hair, and hold your things 👛

3️⃣📸 then it’s time to get posing, and I promise you won’t even have time to feel awkward if you usually do in front of the camera. the whole team is there to hype you up, take you to the best spots, and pose you without having to think about a thing 💁‍♀️

🕶️ sunglasses on at every break because I was trying so hard to not squint in the photos. they’ll also take photos of your on your phone 🤳

4️⃣🌳: you’ll move around to a few different locations (we had time for 5) to have plenty of different photo styles, poses, and vibes. as someone who wants the camera to be clicking basically constantly, I loved how many options I had to choose from in the final gallery 🖼️
